On March 11, 2024, Dr. Myat Su Yin, Senior Researcher of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), represented Professor Dr. Peter Haddawy, the Deputy Dean for Research, along with staff from the International Relations Division, in welcoming Dr. A.R. (Elango) Elangovan, Associate Vice-President of the Office of Global Engagement, University of Victoria (UVic), Canada. This occasion marked a visit to the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU) at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
During this visit, Dr. Myat Su Yin, accompanied by Mr. Thanin Rabiabpho, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, as well as Ms. Nipphit Apisitpuwakul, Ms. Paveena Kumnerdpun, and Mr. Thantamrong Jirapattamaneechot, 4th-year students of B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), introduced research projects at the MIRU Lab and co-research project with the University of Bremen, Federal Republic of Germany. Additionally, discussions were held regarding future research collaborations.
