On June 4, 2024 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), hosted the “ICT Mahidol Short Course: 3-D Assets Creation” for 35 high school students. On this occasion, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, together with Dr. Pilailuck Panphattarasap, and Miss Kanrawi Kitkhachonkunlaphat, Instructors of Computer Science Group, served as the keynote speakers. They provided knowledge on designing 3-D models using Blender software, including the use of Object Mode, Edit Mode, basic texture and material installation, the Asset Browser, Plugins, Add-ons, camera movement, and rendering techniques. The workshop was held in the Computer Laboratory IT105, 1st floor, the ICT Building, Salaya.
The objectives of the “ICT Mahidol Online Short Course” were to provide students with opportunities to participate in online mock classes of the Faculty of ICT and to develop students’ IT skills.
