On 3 August 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized New ICT Undergraduate Student Orientation its freshmen from 2 programs. The first round is for students of Information and Communication Technology Program (ICT International Program), and the second round is for students of Digital Science and Technology Program (DST Thai Program). On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, gave a warm welcome speech and best wishes to all students, blessing them to achieve their academic goals and become an IT professional for the nation.
Following that, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration, and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, advised on preparation prior to the start of the semester, curriculum structures, teaching and learning arrangements, and Baan Advisory System. After that, the student leaders friendlily greeted all the freshmen. At the end of the event, the freshmen were given opportunities to ask questions about their studies and student life at Grand Auditorium Hall, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.
The purposes of this activity were to introduce the faculty members, staff and student leaders to all freshmen, as well as to familiarize the freshmen with the environment at the Faculty of ICT.
