On July 31, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, along with first-year students of the academic year 2023 from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), joined the Mahidol University’s orientation ceremony for new students. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, who delivered an inspiring speech to welcome the new students of Mahidol University, Batch 134. The event was also attended by the university’s administrative team and faculty members from various departments, who extended their warm welcome to the new students.
Following that, there was a Mahidol Talk session where the new students exchanged experiences and learned about university life from Mahidol University alumni. Additionally, the event featured performances by the MU Choir, Ling Rom Band, and Hootoh Yada Band, creating an uplifting atmosphere. The ceremony was held at the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, and was also streamed online through the Facebook Page: Mahidol University.
The orientation ceremony for new students of Mahidol University for the academic year 2023 was organized to officially welcome the new students to the university and to provide inspiration and guidance for their academic and personal life. It also aimed to instill a sense of pride and encouragement in the students so that they can contribute to society.
