On 17 August 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, instructor and advisor of MUICT CTF Club, organized the “MUICT CTF Club (Reopening Event): Introduction to Cyber Security” for approximately 50 first – fourth year students of B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), as well as B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) at Room IT 331, 3rd floor, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.
On this occasion, Mr. Ammarit Thongthua, CEO of Secure D Center Co., Ltd. (Alumnus of ICT Mahidol’s M. Sc. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance), shared Cyber Security career fields with all students. Following that, Mr. Phichayut Ngoennim and Mr. Perakorn Nimitkul, 3rd year ICT International Program students introduced the MUICT CTF Club, as well as shared knowledge on Cyber Security and Cyber Attacks. At the end of activity, students got chances to solve challenges in Digital Forensics and Penetration Testing.
