On November 15, 2023 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with staff from various departments, participated in the “MU Endowment Kick-off Day: Every Possibility in the Future Starts with Creation.” On this occasion, Clinical Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D., Chairman of Mahidol University Council, addressed a warm welcome speech. Following that, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, officially introduced the “MU Endowment” at the MACM Hall, College of Music, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The goal of the “MU Endowment Kick-off Day” is to enhance awareness and comprehension of the Mahidol University Endowment Fund among university executives, instructors, and staff. This fund serves as the university’s central financial resource designed to advance the vision of “creation.” It actively contributes to the generation of new knowledge and innovations, playing a crucial role in fostering lifelong learning for individuals. Furthermore, it aspires to cultivate the “Wisdom of the Land,” making a positive impact on society and ultimately elevating the well-being of individuals in the community, country, and globally. Moreover, the endowment is committed to supporting and promoting educational development, learning resources, research projects, and diverse innovations at Mahidol University.
