On 11 August 2022, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), served as a guest speaker to introduce the MU AI Center at the opening ceremony of “MU Developer Bootcamp” (Orientation Day). On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Information and Kanchanaburi Campus, Mahidol University, addressed opening speech as well as gave the special talk on “Roles of Mahidol University’s on Becoming the Digital Transformation Organization” to all participants. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), reported the objectives of the bootcamp. Followed by, an introduction to MU Developer Bootcamp, Cooperation with Private Sector, Journey to be Data Scientist and Intensive Workshop by Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, the Faculty of Engineering, and Micro Soft (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at Co-MU Space, Library and Knowledge Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The “MU Developer Bootcamp” opening ceremony (Orientation Day) was part of the “MU Developer Bootcamp” hosted by the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) and Division of Information Technology (MUIT). Its goals were to support the University’s policies on driving “Digital Transformation,” to serve as a role model for “Digital University,” to develop students’ Digital Literacy skills, and to create an ecosystem for becoming an Entrepreneurial University.
