On April 25, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), represented by Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, participated in the signing of the MoU to promote the development of cybersecurity skills under the “Government Personnel Skills Enhancement Project to Meet National Needs”. The signing ceremony involved 10 leading universities, namely: King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Mahidol University, Kasetsart University, Chiang Mai University, Khon Kaen University, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Petchaboon, Rajabhat University, and Mahasarakham Rajabhat University. On this occasion, AVM. Amorn Chomchey, NCSA Secretary-General, presided over the signing ceremony at the Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana.
The objective of this MoU signing is to expand the scope of personnel development in the field of cybersecurity, which is currently experiencing a shortage of professionals. Additionally, it aims to strengthen the cybersecurity expertise of government personnel, enabling them to impart this knowledge to students who will play an important role in the future.
