On December 15, 2023 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), and Bro. Dr. Arwut Silaket, Director of Assumption College, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish academic cooperation. On this occasion, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, and Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, ICT Mahidol, as well as Ms. Nattee Jareankietborwor, Head of the Academic Department, Mr. Paithoon Thuamkor, Head of the Director’s Office, and teachers from Assumption College, joined as witnesses at the Grand Auditorium, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to develop Assumption College’s teachers and students with knowledge, skills, and advancements in information technology. This will be achieved through practical learning processes, hands-on activities such as ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops, site visits to real workplaces, organizing IT training camps, and seminars on IT topics. It also includes the development of teaching and learning curricula in the field of AI for junior high school students.
