On July 5, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul and Asst. Prof. Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul, instructors, organized the ICT Mahidol Online Short Course on the topic “Monster Hunter: The Quest of Software Bug Hunting” for 16 high school students. On this occasion, Mr. Noppanut Suksriupatham, Computer Technical Officer from Technology Infrastructure Division, as well as Mr. Karn Liamruk, Mr. Pipatpong Niyommungmee, and Mr. Prach Chaisiri, Computer Technical Officers from Information and Systems Division, served as teaching assistants via Gather.Town.
The objectives of the ICT Mahidol Online Short Course on the topic “Monster Hunter: The Quest of Software Bug Hunting” were to allow students to venture in the magic world, a scene from the series “The Wheel of Time”, as well as to practice being monster hunters and testing software bugs via Gather.Town. In addition, this activity provides students with opportunities to know more about teaching and learning at the Faculty of ICT and to develop students’ IT skills.
