On 18 March 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul and Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul, instructors, together with Mr. Karn Liamruk and Mr. Pipatpong Niyommungmee, Computer Technical Officers, and Mr. Pattarakrit Rattanukul,a fourth year student from ICT Mahidol as teaching assistants, organized the ICT Mahidol Online Short Course on the topic “Monster Hunter: The Quest of Software Bug Hunting” for 19 high school and vocational students via Gather.Town.
The objectives of the ICT Mahidol Online Short Course on the topic “Monster Hunter: The Quest of Software Bug Hunting” were to allow students to venture in the magic world, a scene from the series “The Wheel of Time”, as well as to practice being monster hunters and testing software bugs via Gather.Town. In addition, this activity provides students with opportunities to know more about teaching and learning at the Faculty of ICT and to develop students’ IT skills. Furthermore, workshops will be held once a month as part of the project, “ICT Mahidol Online Short Course.” The next workshop on “Diving into Data with SQL” will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 via Webex Meetings.
