On May 5, 2020, the Minerva Owl team, which is comprised of Mr. Apakorn Kengkanna, a 4th year student, Miss Vipawan Jarukitpipat, and Mr. Pada Kanchanapinpong, 3rd year students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), won first prize from the “1st JobberHack Challenge”. A total of 29 teams from 9 universities, including Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, Silpakorn University, Kasetsart University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Khon Kaen University participated in this competition.
Microsoft (Thailand) Company Limited (Microsoft) and Advanced Info Service Company Limited (AIS) co-organized the “1st JobberHack Challenge” with an aim to equip university students with necessary digital skills for the 21st century jobs. Moreover, by participating in this competition, the students were encouraged to integrate theoretical knowledge into real-life practice through presentation of technological solutions and ideas to solve real business challenges.
