The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) congratulates Mr. Navadol Somboonkul, a 1st year student in the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology program (DST Thai Program), on the occasion that his team, “Lorem Dimsum,” won the 1st place along with a cash prize of 100,000 Baht in the MAKATHON 2023 competition: Creating new business ideas that foster retail-tech future growth, under the topic ‘Revolutionizing Thai Retail Tech – Extraordinary Experiences for Extraordinary People’. His team also included staff of Dong Sung Ki Innovation Co., Ltd. The competition took place on October 4 and 14, 2023, at the Tara Pattanakarn Building, CP Axtra Public Company Limited.
The “MAKATHON 2023: Creating new business ideas that foster retail-tech future growth” is the competition, organized by CP Axtra Public Company Limited. The objective of this competition was to discover the cutting-edge Retail Tech innovations that can enhance efficiency and elevate the customer experience in the services provided by the company brand, “Makro.” It aimed to connect entrepreneurs from all over Thailand with students and computer enthusiasts, through a Hackathon-style competition.
