On 14 September 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement as well as Advisor of Mahidol ICT Educational Robotics Club, organized the “Introduction to the Mahidol ICT Educational Robotics Club 2022” for approximately thirty 1st – 4th year students of both B. Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B. Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program).
On this occasion, a video presentation on “Educational Robotics for Classrooms” by Dr. Amy Eguchi, Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science at UC San Diego, RoboCup Federation Trustee Member was premiered. Then, Mr. Wanchai Saejia, Innovator at Emma Alis Limited Partnership, RoboCup Junior Thailand Competitor Team Captain, Champion of High School Rescue Robot Competition Thailand, gave a special talk on “Learning with Robot” to all students via Zoom. Following that, a brainstorming session was held to determine the guidelines for organizing the club’s future activities. Finally, Mr. Apisith Roopsom, 4th year ICT International Program student and Club President, delivered the closing remarks in Room IT333, 3rd floor, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.
