During 30 – 31 August 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized an operational training on “Machine Learning Foundation for Image Processing” for interested Mahidol University staff. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, ICT Mahidol Instructor, together with Mr. Sarattha Karnjanapreechakorn, Ph.D. student of Computer Science Program, and Mr. Setnipat Kringsakdachai, M.Sc. student of Computer Science Program, served as guest speakers to share the knowledge on Machine Learning to all participants at the 25th floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University (MU Building), Vipawadee Rangsit.
The goal of this training was to provide basic knowledge and understanding of Image Processing and Machine Learning, two important processes that allow machine learning to classify image data. It also aimed to prepare all participants to continue their further studies and apply what they learned to their jobs or preliminary research projects.
