On November 27, 2023 – The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by the Student Activities Scholarship Recipients, together with the Office of Academic Administration, as well as the Preserving Arts and Culture to ICT Application Working Group, organized the “MUICT Loy Krathong Day 2023” for students, instructors, and staff. On this occasion, Mr. Brian Marcar, DST Program Coordinators and Student Activities Officer, delivered opening speech to all participants at the Innovative Space, 1st floor, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The objective of the “Loy Krathong ICTxDST” was to encourage ICT Mahidol students and staff to preserve Thai cultural tradition, “Loy Krathong Festival.” During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange and learn about culture on Loy Krathong Day through various activities including making banana leaf boats, building sand pagodas, and participating in a costume contest with the theme “Loy Krathong.” Additionally, the event aims to build strong bonds and positive relationships among faculty members, staff, Thai students, and international students.
