On October 12, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, along with the executive team, faculty members, and staff, participated in a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the memorial day for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. On this occasion, they offered food to 30 monks in front of the Office of the President at Mahidol University, Salaya.
Following that, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat attended the homage-paying ceremony and memorial ceremony, both of which were presided over by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, the President of Mahidol University. During the ceremonies, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya performed Buddhist rituals, including lighting incense and candles to worship the Triple Gems, offering a Buddhist monk’s robe and the four necessities, as well as pouring water of dedication. Additionally, ten monks performed Buddhist chanting at the Prof. Chatchawan Osathanon Lecture Room, the Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya.
