On November 6, 2023 –the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ananta Srisuphab, the instructor of the course “ITGE164 Computer Application in Biology,” organized a special talk on “How in silico study accelerate life science?” for the 1st year students enrolled in B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program). On this occasion, Mr. Arnon Puitrakul (ICT Alumnus #Batch 12), Web editor of arnondora.in.th, served as the guest speaker. He shared his knowledge about “Silico Study” or the study of simulating biological models and systems using computers instead of conducting experiments on animals or humans, which cannot be done in a real laboratory setting. The event was held in Room IT106, 1st floor, the ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
