On January 8, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Mahidol University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, as well as Dr. Pisit Praiwattana (Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology), instructors of the course ITGE145 E-Sport and Content Streaming, organized a special talk on the topic “Introduction to E-sports & Gearing Up to Play” for first-year students in the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) in Room IT311, 3rd floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya. On this occasion, Mr. Patipol Anantarattana, CEO of View Passion Co.,Ltd., served as a guest speaker to share knowledge about the basic of esports and preparation for competitive gaming.
Furthermore, the course ITGE145 E-Sport and Content Streaming has scheduled an additional 8 special lectures with the following topics:
- Week 2: “Overview of game types (Play the game & Strategy & Focus) – Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA)”
- Week 3: “Business and Monetization in a game industry”
- Week 4: “Ethical consideration and sportsmanship & Social Skills that matter to a game player”
- Week 5: “The Path to Pro in Esport and Finding a Career”
- Week 6: “Hosting a tournament competition Knowhow”
- Weeks 7-10: “Game Competition”
