On May 2, 2023 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ms. Tachanun Kangwantrakool, President and Founder, ISEM Co., Ltd. On this occasion, Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, and Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, ICT Mahidol, as well as Dr. Chayakorn Piyabunditkul, CEO, and Miss Rapirat Thanakijpat, Standard Accreditation and Service Manager, ISEM Co., Ltd., joined as witnesses in Room IT404, ICT Building, Salaya.
The objective of this MoU is to develop ICT Mahidol students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of information technology through training, seminars, guidance session on developing standard products related to the digital services and software industry, and conducting undergraduate research projects (Senior Projects) in collaboration with the company. It also emphasizes on providing opportunities for the students to further develop their skills and knowledge and acquire an understanding of software engineering development standards, service provision standards, information security management system standards, personal data protection standards, and other related standards. Additionally, it aims to help students enhance their abilities beyond what they learn within the educational institution by applying business knowledge from the company to research, enabling them to benefit public and private organizations both domestically and internationally, as well as promoting academic collaboration and fostering good relationships between business and educational institutions in transferring technology for practical application.
