On September 9, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a hands-on training on “Introduction to Deep Learning Shortcut: Practical Neural Network Labs for Beginner”. On this occasion, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, served as the keynote speaker, sharing fundamental knowledge in Data, Basic Machine Learning Concepts, and Various Types of Neural Networks (NN) with the participants in Room IT105 at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University.
The objective of the hands-on training program, “Introduction to Deep Learning Shortcut: Practical Neural Network Labs for Beginners,” was to provide participants with foundational knowledge of Machine Learning. This included understanding of Machine Learning, Classification and Regression Models, and the use of computer systems related to Machine Learning, such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). This training also aimed to enable participants to grasp the fundamental concepts of Machine Learning and Deep Learning and effectively apply Neural Networks.
