On 23 November 2022 – Students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) who have received One-Year Partial Scholarships: Student Activities, including Mr. Navaplud Saimool, Miss Atchaya Srimongkolthana, third-year ICT International Program students, Mr. Yuttapichai Promnok, a second-year DST Thai Program student, together with Dr. Pilailuck Panphattarasap, as the advisor, organized “ICTxDST: Lan Board Game” for students and staff at Innovative Space, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.
During the activity, there was a competition of the “Carcassonne 20th Anniversary Board Game” for the registrants. Mr.Jakkrit Tansue, 1st year DST student, took the first place and received the “Carcassonne 20th Anniversary Board Game” as a prize. In addition, other participants also played varieties of board games, including a quick wit challenge, brain training games, and party games at the event.
The goal of the “ICTxDST: Lan Board Game” was to encourage students and staff to disconnect from electronic devices and spend time together playing board games. Playing board games not only entertains players, but it also helps them develop their thinking and language skills. Furthermore, this activity also aimed to foster engagement and positive relationships between instructors, staff, and all-year students from both programs: B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology.
