On 30 October, 2020 – Mr. Teerapat Sriboonsong, 4th year student from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), won the first-runner up from the 2020 China-ASEAN ‘Learning about Ocean’ Student Film Competition.
The Student Film Competition (SFC), which included ten ocean-related categories, was held by the China-ASEAN Smart Ocean Center (CASOC), under the theme, “Learning about Ocean”. The objective of the SFC was to provide students opportunities of sharing their stories or experiences about the ocean while discovering and enhancing their skills and knowledge. The competition was held online, all competitors were required to submit and present their films via SFC’s website.
Mr. Teerapat Sriboonsong also shared his thought on this competition as follows:
| “This is my first time joining a short film competition. I chose the “Tsunami” category because it is related to education, and the Tsunami videos can be easily found on online platforms. For creating this video, I used “Camtasia” as my video editor program”. |
