The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), held an online activity, “DST First Meet 2021” to inform and advise its B. Sc. in DST’s students regarding the teaching and learning guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On 29 July 2021 – Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration, and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, DST Program’s Director, as well as DST instructors: Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, and Lect. Snit Sanghlao held an online activity, “DST First Meet 2021”, via Webex Meetings, to inform and advise its B. Sc. in DST’s students regarding the teaching and learning guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of the session, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk greeted and gave a warm welcome speech to all freshmen. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, informed everyone about the objectives, graduation criteria, and program structures. After that, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk showed students how to use the Student Portal website; the channel where students can gain information and access to the Faculty’s news and updates. In addition, information regarding reduction of tuition fees, conducting of English courses and activity transcripts were disseminated to all students.
Lastly, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk addressed her final speech to all freshmen: “Studying in the University is the first step for students. We wish all of you to live and spend this period with determination. Also, don’t be afraid to make mistakes or to try new things. When you make a mistake, you can learn and fix it. We hope that you guys are going to be brave and dedicated persons.”
