Saturday, 29 January 2022 – The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) led by Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, and Mr. Stephen Smith, ICT Mahidol English Instructor and Student and Alumni Engagement Officer, gave a presentation about the Faculty’s undergraduate programs; B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT, International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST, Thai Program) in the “Webinar Series: Say University, Say IDP IELTS” held by IDP IELTS via Zoom. There are over 20 people including high school students and their parents participated in the event.
Dr. Pawitra Liamruk and Mr. Stephen Smith gave the presentation on the importance of IT, information of the two undergraduate programs of the Faculty of ICT; B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT, International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST, Thai Program), followed by teaching and learning, student activities, international opportunities, national and international competitions, scholarships, ICT career path, ICT graduate average salary, and admission schedules of the academic year 2022. In addition, the IDP IELTS Thailand provided information regarding IELTS test to the students. Overall, the students and parents paid much attention to the presentation. After the session, the students and parents also asked questions about the programs, teaching and learning, criteria of internship abroad, IELTS test scores, how to write the Statement of Purpose for the International Direct Admissions, etc.
