Mahidol University annually conducts the “MU Open House” with the aim to promote the university to the public, as well as provide opportunities to prospective students to gather more information, and gain experience in the actual environment of the university and its faculties. Meanwhile, the university also wishes to encourage pride and solidarity among staff and students from organizing activities together. This year, Mahidol University has organized the first-ever online session, and on-site event throughout November. For ICT Mahidol, the event is being held during 2 – 27 November 2020.
On 2 November 2020, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, together with the executives, instructors, staff and students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the online opening ceremony of the “MUICT Open House 2020” at ICT Building, Salaya campus. The theme for the “MUICT Open House 2020” is “Zybertron” which all participants have been encouraged to collect clues from the 8 cyberpunk cities at the heart of Zybertron to find the hidden keys and complete the missions!
Throughout November 2020, the online session will be held weekly as following contents:
- Week #1: MUICT Students’ Project Exhibition
- Week #2: Guidance on the 8 Major Tracks of MUICT
- Week #3: Information on Exchange Programs and Internship Opportunities
- Week #4: Stage talks, including MUICT Alumni and Special Guest Speaker from BorntoDev
The on-site event, which focuses on giving more information about ICT Mahidol to all participants, as well as providing them an opportunity to experience in actual teaching and learning environment and meet with ICT Mahidol seniors, will be held at ICT Building, Salaya campus on 14 and 18 November 2020.
