On 21 October 2020 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) held the Internship Exhibition 2020, under the theme “Enrich your experience, Enhance your future” at the Hallway, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya campus, and live session via Webex Meetings.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, gave a welcome speech and reported about the student internship program 2019 -2020 to all participants.
The event was divided to 3 sessions as follows:
Session #1: 2021 Internship Abroad Criteria by ICT instructors:
- Internship abroad at University of Bremen, Germany by Professor Dr. Peter Fereed Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research Development
- Internship abroad at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Osaka University, Japan, University of Bremen (Software Engineering Lab) Germany, University of Wollongong and Monash University, Australia by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, Assistant Dean of the Academic, and Dr. Morakot Choetkiertikul, ICT Mahidol instructor.
- Internship abroad at Tokyo City University, Japan by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, ICT Mahidol instructor.
Session #2: Internship Experiences Sharing Session by Students where Miss Supakarn Wongnil, Mr. Pada Kanchanapinpong and Miss Saranphon Phaitoon, 4th year students who did internship with Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS) shared their internship experience.
Also, the students who interned with collaborative institutes or universities, namely Mr. Borvorntat Nirandmongkol, Mr. Teerakarn Boriboonsub, Miss Arada Puengmongkolchaikit and Miss Vipawan Jarukitpipat, 4th years students, shared their online internship experiences to all participants.
Session #3 Internship Poster Exhibition.
The poster exhibition where the 18 internship posters from 20 intern students who did internship in Thailand were shown. The event was a success and was participated by 64 students.
