On 2 April 2021 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by the Happiness-Enhancing Team held the closing ceremony for MUICT 6 Million Kcal, Let’s move Charity! Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration, Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement and Advisor of the Happiness-Enhancing team, summarized the activity to all participants at Grand Auditorium, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya campus. The total calories burned during August 2020 – January 2021 was 3,188,793 Kcal. For every 200 Kcal lost, the Faculty donated 1 THB for the fund, which resulted to ICT Mahidol donating medical supplies and sum of money worth 10,000 THB to Phutthamonthon Hospital and other 5 Community Health Centers last 31 March 2021.
During the award presentation, Miss Somboon Saetang, a member the Happiness-Enhancing Team, gave “Finisher shirts” to 22 participants who have completed the mission of burning 6,666 Kcal or higher for 6 consecutive months. Furthermore, Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Assistant Dean of Human Resource Management and head of Happiness-Enhancing team, presented exclusive prizes to the top 20 participants who hold the highest calories lost throughout the campaign.
