On 31 March 2021 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Assistant Dean of Human Resource Management, together with the Happiness-Enhancing Team, donated medical equipment and necessary supplies, i.e. disposable hygiene caps, rubber gloves, medical masks, N95 masks, cloth masks, digital thermometer, marking stickers, underarm crutches and a sum of money to Phutthamonthon Hospital and other 5 Community Health Centers.
The donations were proceeds from the “MUICT 6 Million Kcal, Let’s Move Charity”, the activity which encouraged all instructors and staff to record the number of calories lost during exercises, starting 1 August 2020 – 31 January 2021. For every 200 Kcal lost, the Faculty donated 1 THB for the fund. The total donations are worth 10,000 THB.
