On 28 October 2020 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), offered congratulations to the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) and Institute of Molecular Biosciences (MB) on the occasion of the grand opening of MICC: Mahidol Industry Connection Center and MaSHARES co-working space. The MICC, center of cooperation between universities and entrepreneurs, aims to drive innovations and technologies, and instantly improve quality of life of the people. The event was broadcasted via IPTV and iNT’s Facebook Live.
During the opening ceremony, there was a discussion among Assoc. Prof. Soranit Siltharm, Former Permanent Secretary, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University and Prof. Wachira Kochakarn, M.D. FACS., and Vice President for Research and Scientific Affairs, about adopting the management ideas and experiences from both private sector and government sector to create beneficial research and innovations, at MaSHARES co-working space Institute of Molecular Biosciences (MB), Mahidol University, Salaya campus.
In addition, an exhibition of outstanding innovations from Mahidol University, and a business matching, a session which allowed the MU innovators to meet and discuss with representatives from the business sector directly, were held.
