During 21 – 22 October 2020 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), attended the “CITT Meeting (4/2020): Meeting of Dean Council of the Faculty of Information Technology of Thailand”, the “15th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT 2020)” and the “12th National Conference on Information Technology (NCIT 2020)”, organized by the Dean Council of the Faculty of Information Technology of Thailand (CITT) at the Tide Resort Bangsaen, Chonburi Province.
On the first day, where the CITT Meeting (4/2020): Meeting of Dean Council of the Faculty of Information Technology of Thailand was held, many important topics were discussed as follows:
- Cooperation Project among CITT, Microsoft, and JA
- Thai AI Consortium Affiliation
- Academic Conference Performance Report
- Journal Performance Report
- Financial Statements of the CITT
- Selection of the CITT’s 2nd Vice President
- Change of the CITT’s President and Committee
- A Visit to “EEC Automation Park”, a learning and training center for preparing work force for Industry 4.0
On the second day, the 15th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT2020) and the 12th National Academic Conference on Information Technology (NCIT2020) were held. The InCIT2020 was an academic forum which aimed to exchange and discuss new innovative ideas and research results, as well as to enable exploration of future directions for cooperative research. Likewise, the NCIT2020 proposed to provide students, researchers, faculty members and general public opportunities to present their IT research, exchange IT knowledge, as well as establish academic and research cooperation.
