On July 3, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), held the “ICT and DST Information Sessions” for first-year students in the B.Sc. in Information Technology and Communication (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) for the academic year 2023. The purpose of these sessions was to introduce the Preparatory Program and provide information about the curriculum in each program.
During the session, Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, delivered a welcoming speech to the new students, followed by Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Program Chair of the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology, who gave an overview of the ICT and DST programs. Additionally, Mr. Martin Pieter Willemse, English Team Leader, also presented information about English language studies and proficiency requirements. The sessions took place at the Grand Auditorium Hall, 4th floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The Preparatory Program aims to equip first-year students with foundational knowledge and skills before the start of the academic semester. This includes mathematics, English language proficiency in reading, writing, and communication, as well as computer skills. The program provides essential knowledge and skills to help new students succeed in their studies at the Faculty of ICT.
