On August, 30, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) led by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, an instructor from the Computer Science Academic Group and the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), organized a special talk on “Energy Coding Odyssey: Exploring Software Development with ExxonMobil”. The participants consisted of more than 60 students enrolled in two programs: the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The event commenced with a warm welcome speech from Asst. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, the Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development in Room IT331 at the ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
Distinguished guest speakers from ExxonMobil included Mr. Songkiat Wongsa (Recruiting Consultant), Mr. Poonnaphop Benjalert (CICD Engineer), Ms. Apinya Pituxcoosuvarn (CICD Engineer), Ms. Pichamon Chantapeth (Development Consultant and ICT Alumna #12), Ms. Thansuda Kraisangka (Software Developer and ICT Alumna #12), and Mr. Warat Phat-in (IT Platform Engineer and ICT Alumnus #16). During the session, they offered valuable insights into ExxonMobil, presented a lecture on the “Software Development Life Cycle,” and engaged in discussions about internship opportunities and the advantages of working with ExxonMobil.
