On 28 June 2022 – the Happiness-Enhancing Team of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Assistant Dean of Human Resource Management and Head of the Happiness-Enhancing Team, together with the Happiness-Enhancing Team members, donated necessary supplies such as rice, paper, water, sanitizer, and toys as well as money, which was worth over 10,000 THB to Children’s Foundation in Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, to help children affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
The monetary donations came from two sources: the first was the proceeds from “ICT Happy Mission: Collecting Smiley Lollipops and Spreading Happiness,” an activity in which all members of the Faculty of ICT were invited to complete 10 missions and collect Smiley Lollipops (emoticon) from each mission. The Smiley Lollipops were then converted into 1,700 THB donations. Another came from a combined donation of all staff totaling 4,040.25 THB.
