On July 17 – 18, 2023, instructors of Computer Science group, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka, and Dr. Assadarat Khurat, served guest speakers in the training program “Cybersecurity Fundamentals (DGA104)” for 31 government officials. The training took place at De PRIME Hotel in Bangkok.
This training program was organized by the Digital Government Academy (TDGA by DGA) with the aim of providing participants an opportunity to learn about cybersecurity technologies, analyze organizational processes in handling or resolving security issues, explore the concept of Zero Trust in cybersecurity, understand information security management in organizations, and be familiar with relevant laws in governmental agencies. The program also covered customizing and securing computers and mobile phones, as well as conducting workshops on risk assessment and response strategies in case of cyber threats. The ultimate goal was to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively prevent future cyber threats and respond to them in a timely and appropriate manner.
