On December 16, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized a hands-on training program titled “Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).” On this occasion, Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, an Instructor in the Computer Science group, served as the speaker, sharing fundamental knowledge with beginners in the field of Cybersecurity. The training was conducted online through the Webex Meetings program.
The objectives of this training were to equip participants with fundamental knowledge in Cybersecurity, including Security Principles, Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR) & Incident Response Concepts, Access Controls Concepts, and Network Security & Cryptography. This knowledge would enable participants to acquire the necessary skills and understanding for the exam to obtain the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) professional certification in the future. Additionally, participants could apply their knowledge in Cybersecurity to their work.
The Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) is a professional certification in Cybersecurity issued by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)². ISC² is a globally trusted organization widely recognized for its professional-level certifications in the field of Cybersecurity.
