The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahdiol) would like to congratulate 13 ICT Mahidol students who have been accepted to spend 12-week research internships at the University of Bremen, Germany during May – August 2023. All students are receiving scholarships, totaling over 1.6 M Baht. The scholarship funds are being provided by Erasmus+ and DAAD grants that Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy secured in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Bremen. The students will carry out cutting edge research in five laboratories: the Institute for AI, ComNets Lab, Bremen Spatial Cognition Center, Software Engineering Lab, and the Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality Lab. They will also participate in a summer research symposium held at the HWK Institute for Advanced Study in which they will have the opportunity to present their research work. We congratulate these 13 students and wish them an enjoyable and productive summer.

The University of Bremen is a strategic partner of Mahidol University. The two universities share the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit, located in the Faculty of ICT. Since 2014 over 100 students have gone to the University of Bremen on summer research internships.
