On November 22, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Department of Transfusion Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, organized the “Blood Donation for Siriraj Hospital’s Patients” at Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya Campus. Many MU staff and students, as well as general public, donated blood totaling 98 units or 44,100 CC. Additionally, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Phutthasakorn Branch, provided support by offering snacks and drinking water for the blood donors.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Siriraj Hospital’s blood bank is running low on supplies. As a result, this activity was organized to assist in the collection of blood for Siriraj Hospital’s severe patients.
