On July 20, 2023, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, the Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, represented the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) in the academic network collaboration meeting between BEC World Public Company Limited and 19 universities via Microsoft Teams.
The primary objective of this conference was to provide an overview of the project’s progress in the previous year and discuss plans for collaborative activities in the upcoming 2023 – 2024 period. These activities encompassed the News Creator Program 2023, the Project to Produce Programs for Promoting Sustainable Social and Environmental Tourism, the Development of Industry-relevant Skills Courses for Credit Bank, and the New Era Innovation Sandbox Curriculum. Furthermore, the meeting involved discussions about academic cooperation initiatives, such as guest lectures, study visits, and the Cooperative Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) program, specifically designed for fourth-year students.
Earlier on May 5, 2022, the Faculty of ICT had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BEC World Public Company Limited, focusing on two main areas of cooperation. The first area involved facilitating student internships at the company, while the second area aimed at fostering the exchange of academic knowledge between the company and the university.
