On July 24 – 25, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a practical training program titled “AI Introduction for Image Processing”. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, an Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT), served as the keynote speaker. During the training, he transferred knowledge on the application of fundamental Python language, Neural Network (NN), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in image analysis. The training took place at the Computer Laboratory on the 25th floor of the MU Building, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University.
The main goal of the hands-on training course titled “AI Introduction for Image Processing” was to equip participants with fundamental Python skills applicable to Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. The course covered various essential tools and programs like TensorFlow and OpenCV, Neural Networks (NN) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). \By completing the program, participants could develop a solid understanding of Python essentials for AI applications and improve their ability to utilize CNN for image analysis.
