On July 25 – 26, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), conducted organized a hands-on training program titled “AI Computing and Its Applications: AI in Medicine”. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ratchainant Thammasudjarit, Chair of the Doctoral Program in Data Science for Healthcare and Clinical Informatics (International Program), Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Department, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, served as the keynote speaker. The training covered various topics, including the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, machine learning methodology, logistic regression, random forest, practical model evaluation, SHAP analysis, and model deployment. The training was held in Room IT212, 2nd floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The training program, “AI Computing and Its Applications”, is a collaborative project between the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), and the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, under the project “Center of Excellence in AI-Based Medical Diagnosis (AI-MD)”, supported by the Reinventing University System.
