On May 3, 2023 – Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, along with the Academic Services and Technology Transfer team, visited Dr. Stephen Coryelle, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, and the guidance counseling team of Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) to present a collaborative project and activities that will enhance ICT skills of MUIDS students and teachers. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul introduced the team and presented the academic service projects of ICT Mahidol, including cooperation with various schools, such as Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom).
In addition, both parties discussed how to promote collaboration between ICT Mahidol and MUIDS. Various training sessions have been proposed, including knowledge sharing activities from MUICT-AST, Co-Teaching training courses, MUICT-MUIDS School Camping, and Reskill/Upskill training in ICT for both teachers and students. The initial activity to kick-start this partnership will be a free online course on “Security Awareness for High School Students”, which will be conducted by ICT Mahidol. This course will serve as a starting point to establish an academic relationship between the two organizations.
