ICT Mahidol welcomed high school teachers for a visit and discussed academic collaboration

On August 31, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, the Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, welcomed high school teachers for a visit and discussed academic collaboration in Room IT404, ICT Faculty, Mahidol University Salaya Campus. At the beginning of the event, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Program Chair of the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), provided information about undergraduate programs, including the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). Details regarding new student admissions for the academic year 2024 were also presented.
 
Subsequently, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana (Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology), Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol (Assistant Dean for Research), Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul (Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer), as well as Asst. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka (Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development) from ICT Mahidol engaged in discussions with the high school teachers on various collaborative initiatives, including student admissions, student projects, and the provision of training and academic services for both teachers and students.
 
During their visit, the high school teachers had the opportunity to visit the educational facilities within the Faculty of ICT, which included Smart Classrooms, Co-Working Space, the Mahidol-AIST Research Unit (MIRU), where Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued, presented a collaborative research project between ICT Mahidol and University of Bremen, Germany to all teachers. The primary objective of this event was to introduce the Faculty of ICT, establish and strengthen connections, and lay the foundation for future collaborations across a range of areas with the participating high schools.
