On April 28, 2023, Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean for Engineering and Environment, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), received the “2022 Workplace Safety Award, and Evacuation Flag” at the “7th MU Safety Day: Promoting the Occupational Health and Safety” from Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University, at the Foyer of Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya. The event was also broadcasted via the COSHEMMU Facebook Live.
ICT Mahidol has passed the criteria of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare and has been awarded the outstanding level certificate of “Workplace Safety Award” for the 6th consecutive years, announced July 5th, 2023. Apart from ICT Mahidol, 18 faculties, institutes within Mahidol University were presented with the awards at the ceremony.
The “7th Safety Day: Promoting the Occupational Health and Safety” aimed to promote and stimulate safety awareness, demonstrate commitment to prevent accidents at work, reduce the statistics of dangerous incidents, and collectively create and promote a culture of safety at the university. The event also aimed to develop sustainable occupational health, safety, and environmental practices at the university (Safety We CAREs).”
