On 19 July 2022, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, joined by Mahidol University executives: Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, in welcoming Professor Alan Kin Tak LAU, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Partnership and Digital Innovation) from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia for his visit at College of Music, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The purpose of this visit was to discuss academic cooperation between the two universities in the areas of Medical Technology, Information Technology, and Engineering Sciences such as Rehabilitation Technology, Assistive Technology, and Intelligent Optimization, etc. Furthermore, integrated cross-disciplinary cooperation such as Biomedical Artificial Intelligence/Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Clinical Data Analytics, and others were also discussed. Finally, they discussed cooperation agreements for two Doctoral degree (Cotutelle Program) courses of the academic year 2022: Assistive Technology and Machine Learning Programs.
